aparTransformers and Electricals Kerala Limited (TELK) is an Indian company manufacturing heavy electrical equipment, and is headquartered in Angamaly, Kerala. A joint venture between the Government of Kerala and India’s largest power utility company NTPC Limited, TELK was established in 1963 in collaboration with Hitachi Limited, Japan to design, manufacture and service transformers, on-load tap changers and bushings for public and private sector utility companies in India.


TELK currently manufactures, supplies and services high voltage power transformers and equipment such as current transformers, power transformers, voltage transformers, transformer bushings and tap changing gears. It has executed export contracts to many countries including Oman, USA, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Iran, Malawi, Cambodia, Mauritius, Singapore, Nepal, and Bangladesh.
